Icon provides secondary containment sump repair product application training (Icon Certified Installer) to any interested organization or individual (regulators, distributors, contractors, UST/AST site owners, engineers, and others). We require all technicians installing our products to be Icon certified, which is also a condition of our product warranty to ensure proper installation. Certification is obtained only through a direct Icon training and examination process. Upon completion of the online exam after training, the participant will immediately receive a certification card showing their information and activation date, which is valid for a two-year period.
Certification for products installed in UST/AST systems is required by the US EPA, UST/AST regulatory bodies, and most site owners. Icon training conforms to these requirements and the EPA recognized sump repair industry standard, NLPA/KWA 823. Icon Certified Installer training is offered fee-free and with flexibility as follows:
- Online Zoom, most Friday mornings beginning at 8:00 am US Mountain Time Zone (UTC-6), register using the form below

- Pre-registration is required by noon the day before. A link to the session will be emailed soon after (Don’t see the link in your inbox? Check your spam folder.).
- Online training is offered is live and and interactive through the internet “Zoom” meeting platform.

- Plan for approximately 3.0 hours to complete the basic training session (includes two 5-minute breaks)
- A link to the online exam will be emailed immediately afterwards to all participants who complete the training. The exam takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
