iBond Structural Bonder

Icon iBond is a two-part, fast curing, multi-purpose structural bonder used for the repair of UST/AST containment sumps made of fiberglass, concrete, steel, and polyethylene material. It is also the bonder used with Icon SplitRepair Rigid Bonded Fittings. With proper surface preparation and product application, the repair can be a permanent solution to sump leak issues. These repairs can eliminate the need for expensive sump replacement. iBond has been 3rd Party Tested compatible with all fuel types and blends.

Properties

Effects of Temperature

Product is best used at temperatures between 65° F / 18° C and 80° F / 27° C. Temperatures below 65° F / 18° C will slow the cure speed of the material and viscosities will be higher. Temperatures above 80° F / 27° C will cause the material to cure faster and viscosities will be lower. For consistent dispensing maintain temperature in the above-mentioned range.

Storage & Shelf Life

iBond shelf life is one (1) year from date of shipment. Shelf life is based on the products being stored properly at temperatures between 55° F / 13° C and 75° F / 24° C . Exposure to temperatures above 75° F / 24° C will reduce the shelf life of these materials.

General Instructions

iBond adheres well to steel, fiberglass, gel-coat, epoxy, nylon, and acrylics with proper surface preparation; meaning that the surface is dry, abraded, and cleaned of all loose material, oil, and fuel residue, or any other contaminants before being applied.

Precautions/Warnings

iBond products are flammable. Keep away from heat, spark, and open flames. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Harmful if swallowed. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet for complete safety information.
